These cookies are a spicy, pumpkin-y delight! Made with our Golden Autumn Chai, they are the perfect fall treat. Best of all, use leftover chai to make a hot cup of tea while you bake!
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 Tbsp of Golden Autumn Chai tea (finely ground in blender or food processor)
3 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
½ tsp of baking powder
1 ½ cups of white sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) of butter softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp of canned pumpkin
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (temperature may vary depending on your oven). In a small bowl sift together ground Golden Autumn Chai, flour, baking soda and powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Stir in egg, vanilla, and pumpkin. After the wet ingredients are well blended slowly stir in dry ingredients.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 7-10 minutes. Transfer hot cookies to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
