With the mellow richness of the caramel and cornflower in Twelfth Night, sweetness of cream, and hint of cocoa, this drink is sure to please any sweet tooth.
1 tsp of Twelfth Night loose tea
8oz of boiling water
¼ cup of heavy cream
2 tbsp of white sugar
1 tbsp of vanilla
¼ tsp of cocoa powder (optional)
Begin by steeping the tea in the boiling water for two minutes. Remove leaves.
In an electric mixer, whip together heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla for about 1 minute or until well whipped.
Spoon most of the whipped cream into a mug, reserving a little for the top. Pour hot tea over whipped cream and place the rest of the cream on top. If desired, sprinkle the top with some cocoa powder.
Dessert is served!
